ECOLABEL
EUROPEAN STAMP OF APPROVAL FOR “ECOLOGICAL QUALITY” OF PRODUCT WITH LOW IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT FOR ENTIRE LIFECYCLE.
Ecolabel is a product environmental certification, created by the European Union (CEE Regulation no. 1980/2000). It is done in order to allow all consumers to buy “green” products that are eco-compatible, and to contribute concretely to the safeguard the eco-system and improve our standard of living.
Panaria Ceramica has got the prestigious ecological mark ECOLABEL (CEE Regulation no. 1980/2000) for the following porcelain stoneware collections:
- Aisthesis;
- Bioarch e Bioarch Spazzolata;
- Mods e Mods sky;
- Pietre di Fanes;
- Kult;
- Stoneboard.
All the Ecolabel products are marked with a clearly visible daisy. This label is a proof of excellence, because it is given after a thorough analysis of the product life cycle (LCA). For each product all the environmental aspects are considered in every production phase, from raw material to the destruction of the flooring: the quality of the air and water, protection of soils, reduction of waste, energy consumption, management of natural resources, protection of the ozone layer and impact on biodiversity.
